So, did we capture your attention this month?
We had such a great time curating stories, photos and content around sex for you and we hope that at the very least, we inspired you to think and talk about it more. But as much as we’d like to continue talking about everything related to sex, there are other stories and content we want you to check out this month and yes, perhaps sadly, they’re not all about sex.
Starting with our mariposas, who make an appearance in a very unique and much needed book (in English) to the reality that sex gets better with age (in Spanish), here are some of the stories you should not miss this month.
AND THE NOMINATION PA’ CUANDO?
In a year when Latinx stories simply shined, through shows like Vida, Jane The Virgin and One Day at a Time, just to mention a few, no Latinx were recognized in the highest-profile Emmy categories for the 2018 Emmy nominations.
In this joint interview, Brooklyn Nine-Nine actors Melissa Fumero and Stephanie Beatriz, clearly disappointed by this omission, talk about what they can do to help incite change. Like the article says: "What does Latinx Hollywood need to do to earn some Emmy love?"

¡Que vivan las mariposas!
We're sharing with you this review of Jason Porath's 'Tough Mothers: Amazing Stories of History's Mightiest Matriarchs', a book that covers the stories of a diverse group of 50 strong women and the role that they have played in the history of countries such as the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Syria, Switzerland, Mongolia, and many other places.
It's always worth remembering that in so many patriarchal societies, the revolution was fought by tenacious women.

Entonces, ¿será que capturamos tu atención este mes?
La verdad es que nos la pasamos genial seleccionando historias, fotos y contenido sobre sexo para ti y esperamos que, como mínimo, la cobertura te haya inspirado a pensar y a hablar más del tema. Pero por mucho que nos gustaría continuar hablando de todo lo relacionado con el sexo, hay otras historias y contenido que queremos que veas, y sí, tal ves desafortunadamente, no todo es acerca de sexo.
Comenzando con nuestras mariposas, las cuales hacen una aparición en un libro único y muy necesario (en inglés) a la realidad de que el sexo mejora con la edad (en español), estas son algunas de las historias que no debes perderte este mes.
Mejor con los Años
Contrario a lo que muchos creen, el sexo no muere con la edad. Se pone mejor. Entre las cosas que mujeres de 60 años o más quisieran haber escuchado en su juventud está no comparar su vida sexual con la de los demás y no esperar que la otra persona te lea la mente, tienes que decir o que quieres.
Vaya, ¿te imaginas si comenzaramos a hablar con las mujeres mayores en nuestras vidas de esto?
